Job Title: WordPress Web Developer

Job Summary:

The WordPress Web Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites using WordPress. This role involves building custom themes and plugins, optimizing website performance, ensuring security, and creating user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing websites that align with business goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
  • Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure websites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance.
  • Manage website integrations with third-party tools, APIs, and plugins.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and errors.
  • Regularly update WordPress core, plugins, and themes to maintain security.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to implement website features.
  • Conduct website testing, debugging, and quality assurance.
  • Maintain proper documentation of development processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (2+ years).
  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with theme and plugin development/customization.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and website analytics.
  • Knowledge of website security, hosting, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.).
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
  • Knowledge of Git or version control systems.
