Responsibilities

• WordPress Design/Development with Divi and Elementor
  : Build custom WordPress websites using themes, plugins, HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript/jQuery, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
• Website Customization with Divi and Elementor
  : Customize existing WordPress themes, plugins and functionality to meet client requirements, ensuring seamless integration with their branding and visual identity.
• Client Collaboration
  : Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance and support, and communicate project progress, milestones, and timelines effectively.
• Content Management
  : Manage and update website content, including images, text, multimedia elements, and other assets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Website Optimization
  : Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and search engine optimization (SEO) to enhance user experience and improve search engine rankings. Including image optimization, managing site caching, and managing sitemaps, among other things.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance
  : Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors in websites, perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance tasks to ensure website security and stability.
• Testing and Quality Assurance
  : Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance procedures to ensure websites meet project requirements, functionality, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Documentation
  : Maintain comprehensive documentation of website development, customization, and configuration processes to facilitate knowledge sharing, future updates and client tutorials.
• Industry Trends and Research
  : Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress web development and implement innovative solutions to enhance our services.

Qualifications

• Proven Experience
  : Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a WordPress Web Developer including front-end design and back-end configuration and management with a strong portfolio showcasing your previous work.
• WordPress Expertise
  : In-depth knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
• Experience in custom theme development, plugin customization and development
• Working with Divi, Elementor, and other popular page builders
• Custom post and custom fields frameworks like Pods
• Strong knowledge of WooCommerce and payment platform integrations.
• Strong Design Esthetic
  : Must be comfortable starting with a "blank page", understand and be able to apply design principles, incorporating client color palettes to take a website from beginning to completion.
• Problem Solving
  : Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Attention to Detail
  : Meticulous attention to detail to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of design elements and adherence to project requirements.
• Communication Skills
  : Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand client needs, and provide technical guidance.
• Time Management
  : Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Continuous Learning
  : A passion for learning and keeping up-to-date with the latest web development trends, techniques, and technologies.

Technical Skills

In addition to knowledge of the WordPress platform, this role requires skills in:

• HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript/jQuery (in the context of WordPress development)
• Graphics editing and optimization (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.)
• Project management
