Call Center Technical Support Representative: GCS, Philippines: Cebu

Overview The Call Center Technical Support Representative is the primary interface for customers' hardware and software technical assistance. They synthesize internal and external feedback into actionable items, support teams and projects delivering solutions to address customer issues, and work with partner organizations to ensure customer satisfaction on key accounts. Business Hours: Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a week. Work Hours: 5 scheduled days which may include weekends, holidays, and on-call. Responsibilities Provide first level technical assistance to Teradyne customers, addressing inquiries related to hardware, software applications and operating systems. Manage daily workload through an incident tracking system and record problem resolutions in a knowledge management system. Collaborate with field and divisional groups, create process documentation, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Mechatronics or other Engineering related fields. Minimum 1 year of technical experience. Previous experience in a customer-service role is a plus. Knowledge of hardware systems. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel). Strong organizational and critical thinking skills. Excellent phone, verbal and written communication skills. Willing to work on shifting schedules, including night shift. Possibility to work from home subject to business requirements and performance; must maintain effective communication in a virtual environment.
