The Tier 3 Service Desk Specialist is responsible in managing escalated support tickets, performing advanced troubleshooting, and collaborating with other technicians to ensure timely resolution of client issues. Responsibilities Manage and resolve escalated tickets with SLA compliance, ensuring accurate documentation and time tracking. Deliver high-quality end-user support with clear communication to clients and internal teams. Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and suggest process or system improvements. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and exceptional client experience. Act as the primary escalation point for Level 1 technicians, resolving complex or time-consuming cases. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for workstations, servers, and cloud services. Support Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, VPNs, backups, security software, and business applications. Escalate tickets requiring Level 3+ intervention following defined procedures. Assist with proactive monitoring, server maintenance, patch management, and performance tuning. Participate in continuous improvement by suggesting documentation or process updates. Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years of IT support experience, with at least one (1) year in a Level 2 or Level 3 IT capacity. Experience using Windows desktop and server operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration. Familiarity with RMM tools (NinjaRMM, DattoRMM), EDR solutions (e.g., SentinelOne), and remote access tools (e.g., Splashtop, TeamViewer). Troubleshooting skills with a structured and methodical approach. Experience working with ticketing systems and managing SLA-driven workloads. Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience with ITGlue or equivalent documentation system is a plus.
