Overview

Staff Outsource Solutions is a global provider of staffing solutions, accessing staff from different continents with expertise across a broad spectrum of skills and experience. Responsibilities
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete posting and processing.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and monitoring logs; reconcile data between documents and system records.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable; manage general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review; assist in budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure VAT/Tax compliance where applicable; support during audits by organizing and presenting financial documents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy; implement automated posting processes (e.g., Stripe/PayPal).
  • Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Provide support to accountants as needed and perform related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar financial role; preferred exposure to construction, e-commerce or multinational contexts.
  • Knowledgeable in handling US/UK tax forms and basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (and optional familiarity with Xero, MYOB, Receipt Bank/Dext).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred but not required; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
