Job Title: Part Time Field Network Specialist (Remote) Overview We are looking for a part-time contractor to fill the position of Field Network Engineer. The primary responsibility will be assisting in the deployment of cellular SIM cards to our clients across the United States. We are seeking a proactive professional who possesses excellent communication skills and a result-driven attitude. The ideal candidate should consistently take the initiative, demonstrate resourcefulness, and excel in problem-solving. This role will be conducted remotely under the guidance of our Field Engineering Manager. Responsibilities Ensure you have all relevant information before the installation begins. Contact a client at the scheduled time. Closely follow the steps for replacing SIM cards. Complete the testing checklist. Complete the documentation. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Two years of networking experience A college diploma or equivalent is required It is essential to have outstanding communication and customer service skills. Strong organization, time management, and follow-up skills Ability to work independently, as well as take instruction from team members Understanding of cloud infrastructure and strategies Knowledge of network routing and switching infrastructure technologies Basic knowledge of Voice over IP technologies Outstanding analytical ability with attention to detail Excellent back-office skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook Visio, and Excel) Demonstrated leadership and a sense of project ownership Experience with Linux and Asterisk is a significant advantage.
