Night Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless controllers, etc.).
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Manage and optimize WAN/LAN connectivity across multiple sites and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Lead network upgrades, migrations, and implementation projects.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies, tools, and practices.
  • Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior network engineers or support staff.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide escalation support for critical incidents.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, etc.)
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.)
  • Expertise in firewall administration (Cisco ASA, FortiGate, Palo Alto, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with VPNs, MPLS, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
