Job Description Are you passionate about IT infrastructure and server monitoring? We're looking for a driven Events Monitoring Support professional to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the health and performance of our branch server systems across the network. This role supports critical infrastructure by identifying issues before they become problems—keeping our systems secure, stable, and efficient. Key Responsibilities Real-Time Server Monitoring : Track server health and performance metrics and detect potential hardware or application failures. Event and Alert Management : Triage alerts, elevate incidents, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues promptly. Incident Coordination : Document events, manage incident tickets in ITSM platforms, and support escalations. Monitoring Tool Maintenance : Configure and enhance monitoring tools (Zabbix, SolarWinds, etc.) for optimized visibility. Reporting & Analysis : Deliver insights through reports on uptime, recurring issues, and trends. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Communicate effectively with stakeholders, engineers, and support teams during incidents or planned events. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or any 4-year computer-related course. 2–4 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure monitoring. Familiar with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, or Red Hat Insights. Working knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, basic networking, and server components. Proficient in MS Office and ITSM platforms like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Jira Service Desk. Basic scripting (Shell, PowerShell, or Python) is a plus. ITIL Foundation (Incident & Event Management familiarity). Vendor certifications like Zabbix Certified Specialist, Red Hat Certified System Administrator, etc. Detail-oriented and analytical mindset. Proactive, self‑motivated, and adaptable in fast‑paced environments. Strong team player with excellent communication skills. Willingness to work on rotating shifts and occasionally on weekends/overtime. Comfortable working in cross‑cultural and client‑focused environments.
