Overview

Location: Mandaluyong, National Capital Region, Philippines. Jacobs is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team and contribute to power plant projects locally and worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Design fuel gas and fuel oil supply systems for power plants, water and wastewater pump stations, and treatment facilities/processes for water and wastewater facilities.
  • Prepare technical writing, develop construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Apply experience to design fuel gas, fuel oil supply systems for power plants, pump stations for water and wastewater, pipe sizing calculations, pump selection, process utilities (balance of plants), rotating equipment (centrifugal pumps, blowers), piping systems, valves, and appurtenances for in-plant process piping, chemical systems, and hydraulic studies.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and CAD staff; provide inter-discipline coordination.
  • Develop and check PFDs, HMBs and P&IDs; proficient with process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS).
  • Lead Engineer responsibilities in project delivery and development of construction documents and technical specifications.
  • Licensed Chemical Engineer (preferred).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 14+ years of experience in process engineering.
  • Experience in concept design, FEED up to detailed engineering design.
  • Lead Engineer experience.
  • Experience developing construction documents and technical specifications.
  • Detailed design experience for fuel gas, fuel oil supply systems, water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and utility systems.
  • Experience with fuel gas, fuel oil supply systems and water/wastewater equipment for power plant projects.
  • Design implementation of rotating equipment.
  • Hydraulic modeling for pressurized systems.
  • Experience in plant piping system design (line sizing and material selection) for fuel gas, fuel oil supply systems, water and wastewater systems.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and CAD staff.
  • Inter-discipline coordination.
  • Develop and check PFDs, HMBs and P&IDs.
  • Proficient with process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS).
  • Experience in designing process relief systems.
Ideally, You'll Also Have
  • Experience with Design-Build and/or EPC projects.
  • Construction support services for fuel gas, fuel oil, water and wastewater systems.
  • Experience in developing project level of effort for the process design of fuel gas, fuel oil, water and wastewater systems.
