Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CloudOps Engineer to manage and optimize multi-cloud environments, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of mission-critical systems. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) partners in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will lead technical initiatives, support operational excellence, and mentor junior engineers while serving as a subject matter expert in cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security across cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with SRE and cross-functional teams to support scalable and efficient operations.
  • Act as an escalation point for technical issues, leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Drive automation, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance system reliability and operational workflows.
  • Lad engineering projects and programs that deliver technical excellence.
  • Serve as a cloud subject matter expert, influencing operational strategies and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS, plus hands-on experience with at least one other public cloud platform (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud).
  • Strong background in DevOps and CI/CD integration across public, private, or hybrid cloud infrastructures.
  • 2–3+ years of experience with DevOps tools such as Git, GitLab, GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins, TeamCity, Spinnaker, and deployment platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Experience in technical support and customer success, particularly with infrastructure and platform services.
  • AWS or other relevant cloud certifications (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
