We are seeking a Senior Infra Engineer to oversee large-scale systems environments, drive operational excellence, and lead incident response efforts. This role combines technical leadership, process optimization, and mentoring to ensure high availability and performance across critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for infrastructure operations, sharing knowledge, documenting best practices, and conducting root-cause analyses for recurring or high-impact incidents.
  • Lead incident management and coordinate response efforts, including troubleshooting and proactive communication during outages or production issues.
  • Facilitate regular sync-ups with stakeholders to provide updates, clarify issues, and gather feedback.
  • Analyze operational metrics to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and enhance operational tools and automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
  • Document detailed operational procedures, configurations, and environment setups.
  • Identify and eliminate operational toil through automation and process optimization.
  • Mentor junior engineers across areas of expertise.
  • Participate in a 24x7 rotational support schedule.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting high-availability production environments, with a strong focus on automation and operational improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with tools across key domains: at least 1–2 tools per domain

o Linux Systems Administration: RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar

o Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab

o Networking: Load balancing, reverse proxies (e.g., Nginx), DHCP, DNS, SDN
