Join Our Team as a Tier 1 Service Desk Specialist The Tier 1 Service Desk Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support across hardware, software, and network systems. The role ensures seamless operations by diagnosing and resolving user issues, managing workstation setup and configuration, and maintaining accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions. Key Responsibilities Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, applications, and peripherals (remote or onsite). Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, operating systems, and standard applications. Resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues promptly. Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD. Administer devices and systems for MDM and antivirus tools. Install, test, and document system updates, drivers, and security patches. Maintain accurate ticketing documentation and support records. Coordinate with senior IT staff for escalations and complex issues. Create and update internal knowledge-base articles and reference materials. Deliver excellent service through timely communication and adherence to SLAs. Support 24/7 operations on a rotational shift basis. Qualifications Experienced in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD administration. Familiar with MDM (Mobile Device Management) and RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools. Knowledgeable in IT security principles, including antivirus management and system updates. Skilled in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tickets under tight deadlines. Works independently while collaborating effectively with global teams. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
