BIM Coordinator

Role Intermediate BIM Coordinator responsibilities include Attend project team meetings and communicate with project consultants. Produce, release and request packages. Responsibilities Communicate with the BIM manager on a regular basis and provide reports of project status. Coordinate clash detection and resolution activities using Navisworks and ACC. Create federated models from different discipline models for BIM coordination activities. Provide oversight on workflow within the project and coordinate with the BIM Manager to address issues. Support architects/engineers with issues related to drawing standards and the usage of BIM software. Mentor BIM modellers and assist with modelling when required. Ensure the latest model is up to date and correctly stored in the collaborative project management system (ACC). Coordinate with lead architects/engineers and other disciplines. Develop skills in managing large and complex BIM projects. Perform QA/QC on technical drawings before handing over to the BIM Manager for final checking. Set up/develop new BIM model projects, maintain workability and efficiency. Oversee drawing production that adheres to company/project standards and procedures (e.g., BIM Execution Plan). Be part of the Design Coordination team. Check and verify that quality requirements have been achieved in accordance with project and BIM requirements. Ensure all project team members follow BIM Standards/BIM Execution Plan/ISO 19650. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor\'s Degree in Architecture or equivalent courses / technical certification relating to BIM. Proficient with Autodesk BIM software Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks. At least 3 years of experience in BIM-related roles and production. Experience with BIM Document Review (BEP, Component Catalogue, LOD), understanding roles and responsibilities, document management processes and standards (naming conventions, shared parameters, asset attributes list, transmittal records, etc.). Experience managing BIM models for quality control and review processes, creating and using templates and object libraries. Knowledge in the construction field. Soft Skills Collaborative with consultants; able to communicate effectively and distribute responsibilities efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
