Human Resource Lead @ Madeviral | HR, Recruiting and Administration Finance Manager Job Description The Finance Manager will oversee Madeviral’s day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all processes. This role will also focus on improving financial systems, driving cost control, and providing insights that support smart business decisions. Key Responsibilities 1) Operational Finance & Processes Manage daily accounting operations including invoicing, vendor payments, and reconciliations. Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions. Maintain organized financial documentation and adherence to company policies. 2) Communication Anticipate information needs and actively coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Sales, Marketing) and external stakeholders (vendors, clients). Communicate financial updates clearly and concisely, making information easily understandable for non-finance teams. Track missing documents or information and follow up proactively before deadlines. Provide regular updates on financial matters, and communicate payment delays in advance with clear and transparent explanations. 3) Accounts Receivable & Payable Oversee collection schedules, client portal fulfilment for quotations, PO and invoicing, client follow ups to ensure timely payments from clients. Manage vendor and supplier payments strategically to optimize cash flow. 4) Cash Flow Management Plan and strict monitoring company cash flow to support operational needs. Provide early alerts to management about potential shortfalls or financial risks. 5) Budgeting & Cost Control Develop and manage weekly and monthly budgets aligned with company goals and project plans. Track and control spending diligently to maintain profitability across all projects and campaigns. Ensure all spending aligns with approved budgets and related objectives. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with local accounting standards. 7) Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies in finance processes and recommend improvements. Lead system enhancements and support automation initiatives. 8) Accounting Software and Systems Maintain accuracy and integrity within accounting systems (e.g., Xero). Ensure the proper use of finance tools and systems for efficient reporting and analysis. 9) Compliance & Taxation Ensure full compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements. Oversee timely computation and filing of taxes and other statutory contributions. 10) Confidentiality and Security Safeguard sensitive financial data and ensure secure handling of all financial documents. Maintain confidentiality and prevent unauthorized access to company financial information. Lead and mentor finance staff to perform efficiently and collaboratively. Foster a culture of accountability, positivity, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required). Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting management roles. Strong knowledge of accounting systems (preferably Xero) and Excel. Excellent communication skills — able to explain finance clearly to non-finance teams. Strongly proactive, extrovert, independent decision maker, and self-responsible. Strong analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying improvements. Experience in B2B service businesses such as agencies.
