Job Title Accounts Specialist – A/R & A/P Company Overview CRYOPDP, now part of DHL Supply Chain, dedicated to transporting time- and temperature-sensitive products in life science and healthcare industries for over 25 years, covering more than 220 countries. Overall Mission The Accounts Specialist ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial transactions within the Global Control Tower, supporting operations, finance, and Program Management. Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable: prepare and issue invoices, monitor balances, follow up collections, and record customer payments. Manage accounts payable: process vendor invoices, validate documentation, coordinate approvals, and disburse funds. Perform reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and keep records accurate. Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, corporate policies, and local accounting standards. Generate standard financial reports (A/R aging, A/P status) and provide insights. Collaborate with Program Managers, operations support, and cross‑functional teams to align financial activities. Serve as point of contact for billing inquiries and payment issues from customers and vendors. Identify inefficiencies in billing, collections, and payment processes; recommend automation or workflow enhancements. Assist month‑end and year‑end closing activities, preparation of schedules, reconciliation of accounts, and audit support. Organizational Position Reports to AP / AR Manager. Location: Manila, Philippines. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience). 1–3 years of experience in A/R, A/P, or general accounting, preferably in logistics or supply chain. Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent). Detail‑oriented with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. Customer‑service orientation, fluent in English; additional language a plus. Specific Experience & Knowledge Required Hands‑on experience with invoicing, collections, payment processing, and reconciliations. Exposure to ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting. Experience preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate financial records for closing. Understanding of financial compliance, audit readiness, internal controls. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Operations, Program Management). Strong foundation in customer and vendor support, handling billing inquiries and payment issues. Experience with process improvement initiatives and automation ideas. Interpersonal Skills (Essential) Clear communication of financial information. Customer service orientation, timely & courteous support. Effective collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Program Management. Relationship management with vendors and customers. Strong problem‑solving mindset. Integrity and accountability. Adaptability to evolving systems and fast‑paced environment. Attention to detail. Dependability in meeting deadlines.
