About Our Client

We're working with one of the leading banks in the Philippines providing a wide range of financial services, including banking, insurance, and credit cards.

Job Description

The main goal of the role is to support and strengthen the bank's bancassurance channels and insurance partners in executing the bancassurance strategy to meet business objectives. The position works closely with the bancassurance head and key stakeholders to grow the bancassurance portfolio through the following responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the relationship manager for various stakeholders, including bancassurance channels, partners, branches, affiliates, vendors, and internal teams.
  2. Take the lead in promoting insurance referral and cross-selling programs from insurance providers across the bank's customer segments including deposit, credit card, personal loan, private wealth, and consumer loan clients. This includes managing lead generation, sales coordination, processing, payments, and supporting product development efforts.
  3. Act as a liaison between the bank's bancassurance team and its insurance partners to ensure all sales and back-end operations follow the proper processes and compliance requirements, particularly those involving operations and finance functions as part of the bank's risk management structure.

The Successful Applicant

For the Senior Program Manager - Bancassurance position, the successful candidate should have experience in:

  1. Program management - have handled programs in relation to insurance.
  2. Product development - in relation to insurance product/optimization of product.
  3. Project management - managed initiatives, process improvement.
  4. Managing life and general insurance.
  5. Heavy stakeholder management.

The scope of life and general insurance - branch banking channel and consumer lending.

  1. Must have a Bachelor's degree from college/university, preferably a graduate of a Marketing or Business course. Some units in MBA, a masteral degree program, or Insurance licenses preferred.
  2. Has at least 15 years' experience in Bancassurance, Banking, and/or partnerships, sales leadership and with expertise in General insurance.
  3. Has at least 10 years equivalent experience leading a sales team with success in coaching others to achieve sales and business targets.
