Detailed job description and job qualifications:

  • Overseeing daily IT operations.
  • Ensure uptime and performance of IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Handle escalated issues and work towards finding solutions to problems within the team or department.
  • Manage EUC team, delegate and monitor relevant tasks.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Lead or support IT projects (e.g., migrations, upgrades, deployments).
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, data privacy laws, and security protocols.
  • Participate in audits and risk assessments.
  • Oversee site severities and act as POC.
  • Implement preventive measures and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure organization IT assets are accounted for (deployed, in stock and disposals).

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • ITIL, PMP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 8+ years in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in a BPO or shared services environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, etc.).
  • Familiarity with service management tools (e.g., Manage engine, Service now)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
  • Needs to be able to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts
  • Must be amenable to work onsite
