Job Highlights Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $8.0 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM New Jersey Time; includes a 1-hour unpaid break Work Arrangement: Work from home Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process. Responsibilities Monitor and research bid opportunities across all NYC agency procurement platforms (PASSPort, OGS, MOCS, NYCHA, DOE, DOT, etc.). Analyze bid requirements, solicitation documents (RFPs, IFBs, RFQs), and contract terms to prepare compliant and compelling responses. Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and legal/finance teams to compile supporting documentation, pricing, and certifications. Draft bid packages, completed forms, and ensured all attachments, affidavits, and disclosures met NYC agency standards. Manage proposal calendars and deadlines to ensure on-time submissions across multiple active opportunities. Submit bids electronically via agency portals and maintain accurate records of submissions and outcomes. Develop and maintain a bid tracking log, generating reports on win/loss trends and upcoming opportunities. Ensure compliance with MWBE, prevailing wage, and other NYC procurement requirements. Requirements Knowledge and experience navigating the procurement systems, protocols, and regulatory requirements of key NYC agencies (PREFERRED) Ability to manage the entire lifecycle of government bids, including detailed experience responding to and submitting various solicitation types (RFPs, RFQs, and IFBs). Thorough understanding and ability to ensure strict adherence to all contract terms, legal requirements, and government regulations. Meticulous approach to creating, organizing, and maintaining comprehensive contract and compliance documentation. Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of managing competing deadlines and complex workflows in a fast-paced environment. Strong professional communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and agency personnel. Advanced proficiency with standard business software, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and various online procurement portals.
