Because People Matter. Position Title Accounting Supervisor Job Summary Are you an experienced accountant looking to make a significant impact? As a Supervisor you will hone your leadership skills by overseeing the work of Associates and bookkeepers, assisting with client onboarding, and handling complex accounting tasks. This role is ideal for those passionate about mentoring and ensuring the highest quality of work. You’ll build strong client relationships, drive success, and have the potential to fast‑track into a Manager position. You Have (Requirements) BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management Active CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam; a master’s degree in business or accounting is desirable. Exceptions can be discussed based on experience and expertise. Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or an accounting function in industry. Experience with data conversions, interfaces/integrations, reporting and customization within various ERP systems. Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, and/or other accounting platforms; additional certifications such as QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Sage Intacct or NetSuite are a plus. Knowledge of Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp and/or Concur is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to synthesize research into clear, actionable deliverables. Knowledge of GAAP is preferred; deep understanding of accrual accounting is required. Demonstrated leadership experience and willingness to teach others. Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously. You Will (Job Responsibilities) Lead and mentor teammates, ensuring efficient quality control and professional growth. Partner with key stakeholders to lead globalization efforts across the US and Bengaluru teams. Assist with client onboarding, system implementations, and collaboration with tax or audit teams. Perform in‑depth financial analysis, highlight questions for PDMs, and research complex accounting transactions. Schedule team tasks and delegate work efficiently, gaining insight into engagement economics. Serve as a bridge between clients and other key team members, providing informed responses and building rapport. Utilize and adapt to accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online (QBO), NetSuite, or Sage Intacct. Demonstrate proficiency with the MS Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills. Complete yearly BPM Learning Plans on time and volunteer to lead SME trainings. Champion sustainable workplace practices by supporting remote‑first operations, promoting paperless workflows, and participating in recycling initiatives. Skills Expected upon Hire Entry Level: Proficiency in handling complex accounting tasks and consistently delivering high‑quality work. Intermediate: Ability to create asset and liability reconciliation schedules, assemble complete financial statements with minimal supervision, and suggest journal entries with complete supporting schedules. Advanced: Demonstrating leadership potential by managing team schedules, performing in‑depth financial analysis, and applying or researching complex accounting principles. Work Environment Fully remote. Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM PST to overlap with the global team. Candidate may be required to work one weekend per month; two weekdays off will be provided to ensure a balanced schedule.
