Validate the flight data through crew contact and determine contributory factors to the event. Consult with the Safety Manager to discuss the severity and criticality of the event Act on the event as soon as necessary depending on the outcome of his/her full analysis of the event Document the flight data analysis activity for trending, monitoring and tracking purposes. Participate actively in SMS by ensuring that the highest reasonable level of safety performance is achieved by complying with all applicable safety and security laws, regulations and standards including policies and procedures and by reporting all accidents, incidents and/or hazards. Attend/participate in meetings with other Departments, agencies and organizations relative to Flight-related issues. Perform other tasks required by the Manager - Safety. Qualifications Current and Type rated on the aircraft to be analyzed, with a minimum of 1000 flight hours. Has good understanding on Company’s SOPs. Currently not undergoing investigation for any incident/ accident and has not been involved in any incident/accident within a year before his/her designation as Flight Safety Officer.
