Job Description:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen, storage, and service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of food to prevent contamination.
  • Monitor temperature control of food and equipment.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to maintain hygiene practices and correct any deviations.
  • Conduct staff training on food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain records of food safety checks, audits, and incident reports.
  • Liaise with local health authorities during inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Stay updated on food safety laws, HACCP standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Certification in Food Safety (e.g., HACCP, or equivalent) preferred.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in food safety or quality assurance, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
  • Strong knowledge of local health and sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills.
