Maintenance Controller We are hiring at PAL Express for an experienced Maintenance Controller to manage the timely implementation of approved maintenance programs, modifications, repairs, and compliance of airworthiness directives on all PAL Express-owned and/or operated aircraft. The Maintenance Controller will oversee maintenance providers, analyze technical defects, and monitor faults through systems such as Flight Remarks, Aviatar, or equivalent, to prevent critical faults causing operational delays or AOG situations. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Technology Holder of a valid Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) license from CAAP / PRC License At least 3 years of experience in Maintenance Control Operations Level 3 training on any aircraft type rating maintained by PAL Express (Airbus/Q400) Additional experience as an Aircraft Mechanic is an advantage Proficiency in MS Office tools and other digital platforms Major Responsibilities Monitor performance of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft. Ensure timely compliance of all airworthiness directives. Alert maintenance providers immediately of any deviations from standard maintenance practices. Report all accidents, incidents, and hazards, and maintain safety consciousness. Inform the Operations Team (IOCC) of arising defects and maintenance issues, advising on operational impact and aircraft limitations. Confirm all aircraft depart on time; include delays in flight disruption reports and AMOS Event Tracking. Recommend aircraft substitution in cases of foreseeable flight disruption. Develop troubleshooting strategies and monitor recurring defects, providing weekly reports with action plans. Provide technical assistance for aircraft with defects/AOG, including outstation.
