About the Role La Phil is a professional consulting firm specializing in investment setup and regulatory compliance for foreign enterprises in the Philippines. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing company registration, government certifications, and ongoing compliance with relevant Philippine authorities such as the SEC, BIR, PEZA, and BOI. This role ensures that all business operations and client projects adhere to the country’s legal and regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities Handle company registration and licensing requirements with SEC, BIR, DTI, and LGU offices. Manage applications for PEZA or BOI registration, incentives, and renewals. Maintain compliance calendars and ensure timely filing of annual reports and other statutory submissions. Monitor regulatory updates and translate new rules into actionable compliance procedures. Coordinate with government agencies and maintain good working relationships. Support internal teams and clients on compliance requirements, documentation, and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, or Business Administration (or related field). Minimum of 3 years’ experience in company registration, PEZA/BOI processes, or corporate compliance in the Philippines. Familiarity with SEC, BIR, PEZA, and BOI regulations and reporting systems. Excellent command of English (both written and verbal); Mandarin or Filipino is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills. Experience in consulting firms or law/accounting offices preferred. Preferred Experience Background in foreign or Chinese enterprise registration and compliance. Knowledge of the CREATE Act, SIPP, and investment incentive frameworks. Exposure to energy or manufacturing sector registrations is a plus.
