Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to regulations set by BIR, PEZA, BOI, and SEC.
  • Manage and oversee the company's monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
  • Maintain effective coordination with external auditors, accounting consultants, and government agencies.
  • Ensure accuracy of all financial statements and reports in accordance with PFRS.
  • Supervise accounting activities such as GL, AR, AP, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and evaluate supporting schedules required for audits and government inspections.
  • Monitor PEZA/BOI incentive compliance and reporting.
  • Lead the implementation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Manage the accounting team; Handle general administrative duties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or auditing, ideally with a background in public accounting or external audit firms.
  • Prior experience with PEZA and/or BOI-registered entities is highly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Philippine tax laws and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in using accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, or similar ERP platforms).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
