About the Role Grade Level: 07. Role: Associate, Client Support (Capital Markets). The Team Join a team that develops your financial knowledge, S&P product expertise, problem‑solving skills, and professional communication. You will serve on the Capital Markets Client Services team, helping clients resolve issues, interpret data, and navigate the Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro platforms. Working as a team is essential. Client Services interacts with many internal teams, including Sales, Content, Product, and Technical Support. Responsibilities and Impact After 1–2 months of training and mentorship, you will support clients over the phone, via web chats, and emails. You’ll receive deep‑dive training on our data, present group projects, learn about customer segments, and gain exposure to additional S&P Global platforms. Participants must complete required certification exams and a rigorous evaluation process that tests skills and capabilities. This role provides on‑the‑job training and networking opportunities that prepare you for a successful career in S&P Global’s Market Intelligence division, attracting high achievers from diverse undergraduate institutions. What We’re Looking For A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferably in finance, accounting, economics. Willing to learn Corporate Finance. 1–2 years of client support experience is an advantage; open to hiring fresh graduates. Relationship Management: Passion for building relationships with finance professionals. Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well with people from varying backgrounds. Communication: Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively resolve client concerns and promote SPGMI product usage. Proficiency in problem‑solving, time management, and organizational skills. Flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays on a rotation basis but only five times a week. Must be amenable to work on US business hours/night shifts. Availability to start in January 2026.
