We are currently looking for an Accounting Associate (WFH) to support our client based in the US.

Job Summary: The Accounting Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and experience in accounts payable processes. The associate will handle AP entries, reconcile invoices and statements, and respond to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately record accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
  • Verify invoice details, including amounts, terms, and payment instructions, before processing entries.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures for invoice processing and payment authorization.
  • Address inquiries and concerns from customers related to invoice discrepancies, payment status, and account balances.
  • Provide prompt and courteous assistance to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular reconciliation of invoices and statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and payment records.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes, including AP entries, reconciling invoices, and statements.
