ABOUT YOU: You are a strategic thinker who designs end-to-end email campaigns that engage, retain, and convert users. You have experience building automation workflows, analyzing performance data, and using insights to continuously improve campaigns. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with product, design, content, and analytics teams to deliver marketing programs tailored to our unique audience. You understand the importance of empathy in communication, especially with an audience predominantly visiting obituaries, and you know how to balance sensitivity with business objectives. This role focuses on creating and optimizing campaigns, not responding to individual emails or customer support inquiries. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Develop and execute high-volume email marketing campaigns across multiple systems and email platforms, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency. Design and implement high-impact email campaigns and automated workflows using multiple CRM and email platforms, ensuring all campaigns reflect empathy for our unique audience. Develop, test, and optimize A/B campaigns and automation flows to maximize engagement, conversion, and retention. Write compelling, brand-aligned messaging that resonates with users, particularly in sensitive contexts, while driving business objectives. Analyze campaign performance and report key insights, using data to inform strategy and optimize future campaigns. Recommend and implement improvements to platforms, tools, and workflows to streamline operations and enhance campaign effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, content, and analytics to deliver cohesive, data-driven campaigns. Maintain and optimize subscriber data segmentation and list hygiene to ensure accurate targeting and campaign performance. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field. Proven experience in designing and launching end-to-end email campaigns and automation workflows, with a focus on strategy and conversion. Experience with multiple email marketing and automation platforms. Strong analytical skills and experience using CRM and campaign data to guide marketing strategy. Ability to make strategic recommendations for platform optimization and workflow improvements. Basic HTML and Salesforce experience for campaign building and execution.
