MAIN PURPOSE OF THE

JOB

To implement Seda fraud management framework and processes as

well as conduct and report on corporate fraud-related

audits/investigations within Seda.

KEY PERFORMANCE

AREAS

❖ Drive and facilitate fraud risk assessments across the

organization by assisting management in identifying, assessing,

managing and prioritizing fraud risks in their operational

areas.

❖ Investigate and compile comprehensive forensic investigation

reports for various stakeholders.

❖ Conduct awareness on compliance and fraud management

within the organisation.

❖ Maintain Register of reported fraud incidents/allegations (Case

Management System).

❖ Support disciplinary, criminal and civil proceedings.

REQUIRED MINIMUM

EDUCATION AND

TRAINING

❖ Matric (NQF Level 4) plus a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in

Investigations.

❖ Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Auditing/Risk Management/ Commerce/Forensic Investigations as an added advantage.

❖ CFE certificate will be an added advantage

REQUIRED WORK

EXPERIENCE AND

KNOWLEDGE

❖ A total of 4 – 6 years of work-related experience in

Investigations/ Risk Management/Auditing with at least

three(3) years of experience in Corporate Investigations.

❖ Understanding and application of elements of crimes such as

fraud, corruption, theft and computer crimes to investigations.

❖ Sound experience in conducting interviews, compile

statements, collect, document and analyse relevant evidence.

❖ Ability to testify and present evidence in a court or at a

disciplinary hearing.
