OF INCUMBENTS: 1 DIVISION: Office of the CEO LOCATION: Seda National Office MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB To provide legal advisory services to various Seda Business Units, Board Committees and the Board which includes implementing the legal and corporate governance strategy, policies and procedures. Key Performance Areas Provide legal advisory services Provide policy and legal submissions review support services Conduct legal research and keep abreast of relevant legal information Provide contract management services Required Minimum Education Matric (NQF Level 4) and a four (4) year qualification in Law Admission as an attorney/advocate will be added advantage Required Work Experience 6-8 year’s experience in similar position/Attorney/Advocate Knowledge of public sector prescripts Knowledge of corporate governance Knowledge of Board management services Critical Competencies Policy Development & Adherence Advisory Service Communication Stakeholder Engagement Analytical Business Acumen Problem-Solving & Decision-Making Planning & Organising Monitoring & Evaluation NB: It is the organization’s intention to promote equity and representivity in terms of race, gender and people living with disability as per the set numerical targets contained in the organizational Employment Equity Plan (EE Plan).
