The B2B Pre-Sales Incubation Manager plays a key role in piloting new products, solutions, and commercial programs before they transition to full Sales deployment. The role ensures that offerings are commercially ready—equipped with complete tools, narratives, and documentation—and are aligned internally for smooth external rollouts.
This role acts as a strategic bridge between innovation and commercial execution, helping fast-track go-to-market readiness and early-stage enablement.
Roles and Responsibilities- Lead the commercial incubation of new products, bundles, or programs prior to their transition to Sales.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Product, Governance, Legal, Operations, and Sales to ensure all business requirements are met.
- Manage structured incubation sprints with clear milestones and documentation standards.
- Develop comprehensive pilot toolkits such as:
- Business case documents
- Solution briefs
- Pricing and ROI models
- Pitch decks and FAQs
- Internal how-to guides and go-to-market memos
- Customize tools to fit merchant contexts and ensure they are user-friendly for Sales teams.
- Continuously gather feedback from Sales and stakeholders to evaluate tool satisfaction and completeness.
- Prepare timely incubation reports that highlight learnings, risks, commercial insights, and recommended next steps.
- Completeness of tools for pilots or new solutions: Ensure pilot toolkits are fully developed and usable at handover, based on Sales feedback and readiness checklists.
- Timeliness of tool delivery: Deliver all required materials on time according to the incubation project schedule.
- Sales satisfaction rate: Maintain high Sales confidence and satisfaction measured through surveys or feedback.
- Frequency of incubation reports: Submit regular, structured reports capturing pilot insights, performance metrics, risks, and recommendations.
Must-Haves:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in any of these areas: B2B solutioning, business development, product commercialization, trade marketing, marketing, or sales.
- Experience working with MSMEs or selling to the MSME segment is strongly preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to package products into viable, scalable business models.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with strong ability to interpret business data and refine solutions accordingly.
