Responsibilities Directs and coordinates of Project Employees (Engineering, General Foremen) to ensure that project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget; assigns an engineer or personnel-in- charge for shifting schedules when necessary. Assists the Project Manager in the preparation, monitoring and maintenance of the project construction in accordance to its schedules plan specifications, and other related activities. Prepares and provides at least one week look ahead site activity schedule based on the schedule provided by the Project Manager. Reviews and checks plans for any inconsistencies versus on-site implementation and report to Project Manager for proper evaluation. Implements action plans to deal with the delays such as bad weather or emergencies at construction site. Conducts regular site meetings and status report update among employees/ workers to keep track of the progress of project. Ensures completion and track all independent testing and inspections as required. Evaluates performance of all directly reporting project employees in the execution of their duties and responsibilities. Implements effective strategies on possible cost saving measures for the projects.
