The Senior Financial Accountant plays a key role in supporting the Finance Manager in overseeing the company’s accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities including bank reconciliation, budget projections, cost analysis, taxation, and audit preparation. Key Responsibilities Perform daily bank and monthly credit card reconciliations. Verify and record employee expense reports and G&A expenses. Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules. Prepare weekly cash flow projections and assist in cash management. Support the Finance Manager in supervising Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Ensure tax compliance (VAT, Corporate Tax, GST, WHT), reconciling trial balances with filed returns. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations (prepayments, accruals, provisions). Collaborate with the Sales Team and Country Manager on weekly AR/AP reports and collections follow-up. Prepare month-end closing entries and management reports. Assist in internal and external audit requirements. Provide support during budgeting, forecasting, and special projects. Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; CPA qualification (or pursuing) preferred. Minimum 4–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in the freight forwarding or logistics industry. Proven experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Knowledge of air and sea freight terms is an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
