Deputy Plant Manager Reason for Hiring: Current incumbent will be retiring soon The position of Deputy Plant Manager will be at the Officer level, with the rank of Vice President. Responsibilities: Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing day-to-day plant operations including production, logistics, engineering, maintenance, safety, quality control, and community relations Lead process improvements to increase plant efficiency, product yield, and cost-effectiveness Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet demand and reduce downtime Conduct daily plant inspections to assess actual flow of production activities and recommend adjustments and changes, if necessary Approve all production process improvements and supervise implementation of the same Ensure equipment is properly maintained and manage repair costs Act as Plant Manager in their absence Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field Requires at least ten years of work experience in plant or manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in fertilizer, chemical, or related industries Must have extensive knowledge in production planning, scheduling, and cost analysis Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in the use of MS Office applications #J-18808-Ljbffr
