Duros Hotels Inc. is seeking an experienced and strategic HR leader to serve as the Head of Human Resources. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the HR strategy and vision to support the continued growth and expansion of our dynamic hotel group. Working closely with senior leadership, you will champion a culture of excellence, innovation and employee wellbeing across our Liloan Cebu location. This is a full-time position.
What you'll be doing- Providing expert strategic HR leadership to ensure the effective and efficient management of all HR functions, including talent acquisition, learning & development, performance management, employee relations, and compensation & benefits
- Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and programmes that foster an engaging, productive and compliant work environment
- Partnering with business leaders to understand their evolving workforce needs and designing tailored HR solutions to support organisational objectives
- Leading and developing the HR team, building their capabilities to deliver high-quality, value-added services to our employees
- Driving continuous improvement and innovation across our HR processes and practices
- Ensuring full compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
- Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' progressive HR experience, ideally within the hotel/hospitality industry
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and a track record of delivering impactful HR initiatives
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with organisational goals
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in driving organisational change and cultural transformation
- Passionate about developing talent and creating an exceptional employee experience

Job Description- 1.1 Talent Supply Planning Responsibility
- Facilitates the review of workforce plans to validate staffing and employee movement recommendations made by department managers
- Identify gaps in the workforce plan and appropriate talents to fill those gaps
- Sets up and sustains partnerships with external sources, such as government, professional organizations, non-traditional channels
- 1.2 Performance and Competency Management
- Facilitates alignment and calibration of goals and targets of a division to the over-all
- Facilitates the development/review of job competency matrices for a division based on existing competency dictionary
- Facilitates Job Competency Assessment for employees
- 2: Talent Acquisition and People Development
- 2.1 Assessment & Selection
- Profiles and assesses an individual fit for the job using all appropriate and available tools and test battery
- Conducts interviews for potential candidates in required position
- Coordinates with concerned departments for timely and proper on-boarding of new employee
- 2.2 Learning Design and Development
- Facilitates Learning and Development Planning for employees
- Coordinates with Corporate HR Team and external suppliers for the training requirements
- Ensures compliance to training systems and processes like JCA, L&DP, post-training contracts and documentation as well as attainment of training targets to support the objective of building and enhancing employee competence level
- Checks completeness of employees' training record
- 3.1 Conducts initial job evaluation and coordinates with Corp C & B for the final evaluation and implementation
- 3.2 Clarifies C&B policies and procedures as needed
- 3.3 C&B Delivery and Process Management
- Facilitates availment of benefits
- Facilitates resolution of payroll and benefits related issues
- 4.1 Designs and organizes wellness, work-life, and recognition programs for the SBU
- 4.2 Assesses level of engagement and develops programs to drive it
- 4.3 Develops company programs that support CSR initiatives of the Company
- 5.1 Resolves and manages disciplinary cases
- Provides guidance to line managers in the effective and consistent implementation of the company rules and regulations, handling grievances, investigations, and carrying out disciplinary actions
- Conducts administrative investigation proceedings and ensures that statutory provisions are complied
- Ensures complete documentation in implementing disciplinary actions
- 5.2 Ensures accuracy in the implementation of Labor Laws
- Coordinates, sustains, and sets up partnerships with labor-related government channels
- Graduate of Psychology, Behavioral Science, or any related course.
- Must have 5–10 years of experience in HR business partnering and organizational development.
- Has good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to be assigned in Danao, Cebu (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH).
