Position Title: Business Insights Officer

Job Summary:

  • The Business Insights Officer is primarily responsible in utilizing varying data analytics frameworks to deliver actionable insights and support revenue growth, operational cost reduction, efficiency improvement, risk reduction and improve customer experience/ delight.
  • He/she will serve as a strategic business partner to Branch Banking Sector business units and work with them to monitor, identify and implement business analytics needs – specifically driving insight using data visualization, exploratory analysis, and storytelling focusing on identifying potential sources of growth and efficiencies derived from customer behavior patterns.
  • He/she will analyze transactions and give meaningful insights.
  • He/she will help the Area Head formulate strategies based on the gathered insights.

Role Exposure:

  • Develop your collaboration skills – through coordination with various department and units.
  • Develop your analytical skills – providing insights and recommending business solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication Arts, Statistics or any related field.
  • Preferably with experience in using data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik.
  • Should have data analysis and data insights experience in a bank.
  • Strong ability to drive data, make data-driven decisions, problem solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with various technical team.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders of varying seniority levels is an advantage.
  • Experience in the banking industry is a must.
