Scope of Role We are looking for a fast-learning and highly numerate Finance Assistant to join our growing Finance team in Manila. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of ITRS Group Limited and its subsidiaries. This role will work closely with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams and contribute to month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting. As a Finance Assistant, you will: Support the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams. Own the reconciliation of bank and credit card statements. Assist with processing payments and ensure deadlines are met. Ensure accurate inputting of VAT and support international VAT compliance. Reconcile receivables (debtors) and payables (creditors). Contribute to month-end and year-end processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Support the Finance team with ad-hoc tasks and business requests. Assist in enhancing management and financial reporting. Contribute to process improvement initiatives. Help reduce compliance risk and support strategic growth. Requirements A solid understanding of basic double-entry accounting and accounting concepts. 1–2 years of experience in accounts or bookkeeping; SaaS industry experience is a plus. Familiarity with FinancialForce (FF) or similar systems is desirable; training will be provided. Strong numerical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. A good understanding of international VAT is desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. A proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
