Junior Accountant

Location: Any Site (Manila, Clark, Tarlac, Cebu)

Shift : Monday to Friday; 7AM – 4PM

About the role ….

The Junior Accountant will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage the following tasks:

• Processing up to Trial Balance stage and preparing financial statements for lodgement with the Australian Taxation Office.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analysing accounts
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Reconcile GST that has gone through the fund with what\'s been paid to the ATO
• Prepare private tax returns, company, trust, partnership tax returns and end-of-year compliance jobs
• Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner
• Research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings and negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues
• Protects organization\'s value by keeping information confidential.
• Offer open lines of communication between management to ensure targets are met
• Prepare and update tax provision schedules

Qualifications / Skills:

We are looking for an A-star individual, passionate and competent with what they do and bringing the WOW with the following qualifications:

• Graduate of Accountancy or Accounting Technology; Advantage if CPA licensed
• With at least 1 - 2 years of work experience in accounting preferably Australian Accounting
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Attentive to details and organized
• Experience with Xero; Experience with Xero Practice Manager is an advantage
