Finance Manager – Philippines

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for daily accounting operations including oversight of accounts receivables/payables/ledger, month-end closing, timely accurate submission of reporting packages and treasury functions.
  • Monitor monthly cash flows, working capital requirements and prepare monthly cash flow projections for reporting to management.
  • Monitor foreign exchange hedging to mitigate financial risks for the company.
  • Assist in budget preparation and analysis of variances from established budget.
  • Manage and maintain integrity of all financial information and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.
  • Prepare credit assessment forms and recommend credit terms; review onboarding documents and register new customers to Netsuite.
  • Ensure timely tax compliance and BIR filings (compensation, expanded, final withholding taxes, and VAT); assist in tax projects with external consultants; assist in audits.
  • Ensure compliance with HQ guidelines and applicable internal controls.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of the company’s P&L, cash flow, and budgeting; participate in process improvement projects as assigned by the Finance Director.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification required (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience with hands-on full-sets of accounts, month-end closing, and audit background.
  • Experience with auditors for internal & external audits; ability to prepare audit schedules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (Netsuite or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of local tax laws and BIR compliance; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong teamwork and independent working skills.
  • Fluent in English, with good written and verbal communication; proactive, discreet, and professional.
