Overview

Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for triOS College, Eastern College and Centre for Distance Education. This remote role is based in the Philippines and requires a home office setup with reliable computer and internet connection. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST. Start date: Immediate. The opportunity focuses on accounting responsibilities within the finance team across multiple campuses.

What you’ll be doing

Payment Processing & Receipts

  • Set up preauthorized debits (PAD) from student bank accounts.
  • Issue receipts on student accounts for preauthorized debits (PAD), Interac, LTD, and NRC payments.
  • Advise Financial Aid Officers regarding incoming student payments.
  • Maintain the monthly preauthorized debit (PAD) schedule.

Reconciliations & Reporting

  • Reconcile chequebooks for all campuses.
  • Perform entity-based Payments in Processccount reconciliations.
  • Review campus withdrawal reports and submit to POTA.
  • Reconcile and post Campus Statistics journal entry.
  • Maintain General Ledger, reconcile GL accounts, prepare and enter journal entries.

Trackers & Records Management

  • Maintain Flywire tracker.
  • Manage Accounts Payable shared mailbox and direct invoices with supporting documentation into Cloud Automation software for approval.
  • File and document management on network drives.
  • Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and organized for audit readiness.

Process Improvements & Systems

  • Identify and recommend improvements in financial workflows (automation, efficiency gains).
  • Assist in maintaining finance software systems (e.g., updating vendor/student profiles, report templates).
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation as needed.

General Administration

  • Prepare regular reports for management on payment processing, AP trial balance, and reconciliations.
  • Support special projects or initiatives within the Finance department.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial and student information.

Other duties

  • Other duties as assigned, and which are in the best interests of the College.
What you bring to the position
  • Degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with ERP software.
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing and account reconciliation.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
