Overview

Technical Director - Environmental Science at GHD, Makati, National Capital Region, Philippines. The role leads complex, multidisciplinary projects, drives technical excellence, and mentors teams within our Philippines operations.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership
    • Lead Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and sustainability initiatives.
    • Provide QA/QC oversight and technical direction across project phases.
    • Champion technical service lines and global collaboration initiatives.
  • Project Delivery
    • Act as Project Director, Manager, or Technical Lead on high-profile projects.
    • Ensure delivery to scope, budget, and schedule with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new opportunities across the Philippines and other GHD regions.
    • Lead proposal development for complex, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Team Development
    • Mentor and coach junior staff to build technical capability.
    • Promote a high-performance culture and knowledge sharing.
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong technical background in environmental science, sustainability, and EIA.
  • Proven leadership in managing large-scale, complex projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted client relationships.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing technical teams.

This position can be based in Makati or Quezon City depending on location preference.
