An Australian insurance brokerage is seeking a Broker Administration Support Officer to assist its commercial broking team with backend operations, renewal preparation, and insurer coordination. This newly created role is ideal for someone with solid experience in insurance administration who is looking to deepen their exposure to complex risk profiles and broaden their product knowledge. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values open communication, shared success, and continuous learning. The role is well-suited for candidates who thrive in structured environments with strong mentorship and training. Key details: Perth business hours (8AM–5PM PH time). It will be full-time onsite during the first 3 months of onboarding, with the option to transition to a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) based on performance. Key Responsibilities Prepare renewal documentation including calculation sheets, currency templates, and insurer terms 6–8 weeks prior to renewal dates. Assist with quoting for new business, renewals, and mid-term policy changes. Coordinate with insurers to support quoting, endorsements, and policy adjustments. Process administrative follow-ups such as wage declarations and workers’ compensation adjustments. Maintain organized records and ensure accurate data entry across systems. Use established templates and tools to streamline documentation and reduce manual formatting. Support brokers with backend tasks while they manage client-facing responsibilities. Participate in structured onboarding and training, guided by senior broker assistants and team leads. Skills, Experience and Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in insurance administration, preferably within the Australian market. Familiarity with Winbeat, Sunrise, and STCP platforms is highly preferred. Strong internal communication skills, especially in coordinating tasks and managing expectations. Foundational understanding of insurance products, contracts, and terminology. Willingness to work toward PS146 (Tier 1) certification for future career progression. Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits and time management. Comfortable working in a structured, collaborative, and feedback-driven environment. Experience handling complex risk profiles is a plus.
