The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and effective implementation of all company’s policies, procedures, and activities involved in assuring the quality and the control of manufactured products. Maintains close working relationships with other department managers and supervisory personnel in order to meet and maintain product quality, identify, solve, and prevent problems affecting product quality, maximize productivity, and comply with regulatory requirements.

  • Bachelor Degree of Science preferably in Food Science or related field
  • Food & Safety Training, cGMP,HACCP, ISO’S and leadership trainings
  • Proven experience in handling product standards and specification
  • A good knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Good understanding of quality testing within the food industry to include analytical, microbiological and sensory evaluation
  • Must possess a basic understanding of chemical and microbiological analysis and basic math
  • Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication & presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Must be pro‐active in identifying and proposing solutions, with the ability to exercise sound judgment in all matters
  • Must be accurate and highly detail‐oriented with follow‐through skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and successfully meet deadlines
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, officials, and the general public
  • Must be able to work independently yet function within an organizational structure
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints
  • Must be able and willing to travel throughout the portfolio to carry out duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to handle shifting and multiple priorities in a fast paced, growth environment
  • Flexible, creative, manages own time, and well organized
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a multi‐cultural team
