Job Description A Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet established standards of quality. This includes reliability, usability, and performance. The role involves designing and executing tests, identifying issues, and collaborating with development teams to improve quality. Key responsibilities include developing test plans and cases, executing functional and regression testing, and identifying defects. Quality Assurance Specialists also ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and proven experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies. Strong knowledge of testing tools, bug-tracking systems, and automated testing frameworks is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
