Job Overview

As a Feature Engineer , you will be a key player in the collaboration between IT and Business stakeholders. You drive complex changes within and across Tribes, translating business requirements into business value. You will align between squads and other parts of the organization, managing dependencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret business rules and functional and non-functional requirements to define technical specifications based on an architectural design for interactions among systems, data exchange, and transformations.
  • Participate in shaping activities and feasibility analyses for new or upgraded initiatives (Epic and User Story), assessing IT impacts and supporting developers in the development phase.
  • Perform detailed functional and technical analysis/design, test support and problem determination.
  • Collaborate in defining new suppliers and contractual requirements.
  • Break down requirements and technical solutions into appropriate User Stories, examining costs, benefits and risks and justifying decisions logically.
Key Capabilities / Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in software development projects, preferably in Agile environments.
  • Experience designing backend solutions and developing applications with Java on/with J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot.
  • Experience in a complex environment with 24/7 service availability.
  • Excellent knowledge of the relevant IT architecture and technical flows.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Problem solving skills to drive progress and remove impediments.
  • Analytical skills for creating end-to-end solutions.
  • Team player with a proactive, learn-and-coach mindset.
  • Good English communication skills, including presentation abilities across levels.
  • Knowledge: Microservices architecture and domain design model.
  • Advanced experience in REST & SOAP application services.
  • DBMS and SQL (e.g., Oracle, PL/SQL).
  • JUnit testing, test-driven development, and Spring integration testing.
  • UML standards and Agile/Scrum familiarity.
