Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in automated testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and manual testers to streamline the testing process and improve overall product reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects or performance issues.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and optimize test execution.
  • Report, track, and manage defects using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to support new functionality.
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and test case reviews.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in QA automation or software testing.
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
  • Experience with test frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Pytest) and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience testing cloud-based or microservices applications.
  • Knowledge of performance or security testing tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php25, Php45,000.00 per month
