Position Procurement Specialist (URGENT HIRING) Location BGC, Taguig - Onsite ( Mon-Fri) Project-based 12 months Job Qualifications Can start ASAP Must have Project Management, Logistics Management skills Supply Chain System competency 2 years in procurement, preference is someone with vendor management experience Preferably with background in the Energy Industry or fast-paced industry Educational Requirement Bachelor's degree graduate Job Responsibilities The position is responsible for providing administrative support to the procurement team primarily to assist in the on-time procurement of goods and services for the company. This position is also responsible for administrative processes and support functions in supply management projects. Furthermore, this position facilitates the updating of supply management vendor database and BPO/Consignment contract agreements. Additional responsibilities are: Check Purchase Request (PR) for compliance and completeness Preparation of RFx (Information, Quotation, Proposal) Solicit competitive quotations, prices, or tenders for purchasing requirements Analyze and evaluate proposals and select the best supplier to supply items that meet all requirements Expedite and track Purchase Order Follows-up with suppliers for expedition of delivery Deliver requirements to the end-user within the agreed specifications and lead-time Coordinate with end-users requirements, including correct specifications, timely delivery and after-sales support Coordinate with other supply management functions to ensure that end-user requirements are met and served Ensure interdepartmental communication for improved coordination Assist in the accreditation process of suppliers, mainly communications and document filing, and facilitates completion of requirements for new and existing vendors Assist in market research on potential products, vendors, and services, and compare prices and quality to ensure the best available deal Prepare reports on purchases made, cost-benefit analysis, and weekly PR and PO reports (includes pending) Assist in maintaining good Records Management Act with integrity, and undertake all procurement activities in line with best practice. Comply with the company policy requirements, and encourage suppliers and colleagues to do the same Assist in the implementation of Integrated Management Systems (Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, and Asset) and compliance to regulatory requirements Participate in the different programs of the organization Perform all functions, duties and responsibilities, and other related duties that will be assigned by the immediate superior #J-18808-Ljbffr
