About the Role

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential to the company's operations. This role ensures cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of materials while maintaining compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best value for the organization.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Operations, Logistics, etc.) to identify purchasing needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, company standards, and ethical procurement practices.
  • Track and analyze key procurement metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Support inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels for continuous operations.
  • Stay updated on market trends, supply chain risks, and new sourcing opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management (preferably in the Philippines).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP or procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Knowledge of import/export processes and government procurement regulations is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
