Overview
Senior Human Resources Manager position in Angeles.
Responsibilities- Act as Secretary of the Industrial Relation Committee (IRC).
- Monitor issuances and receipts of memos and schedule due process conferences; facilitate documentation for IRC meetings.
- Draft notices and memoranda for review and signature of the HRD Head related to: Policy on Discipline, Policy on Tardiness, and other violations submitted by Internal Audit Department (IAD), Risk and Compliance Department (RCD), or incident reports from Group/Department/SBU (GDS) heads.
- Maintain a monitoring file of all cases and sanctions of employees.
- Coordinate with the HRD Head on violations to PGPs, the company handbook, including recommended action plans when applicable.
- Monitor effectiveness and compliance to company policies.
- Communicate policies pertaining to Human Resources and Benefits.
- Provide support to IS in terms of counselling employees.
- HR Compliance: oversee periodic DOLE compliance reporting; process health and safety standard requirements; prepare related reports; ensure statutory requirements are met; coordinate annual physical examinations and wellness orientation; maintain records.
- Benefits Administration: Uniform Benefit — prepare supplier comparisons and recommendations, prepare masterlist of employees entitled to uniform benefit, coordinate with GSD for uniform design and supplier, and administer uniform benefits for new regular employees per the Policy on Uniform (PoU).
- Benefits Administration: Health Benefit — act as point person for health benefit dealings; prepare masterlist of employees entitled to health benefits; shortlist HMO providers; negotiate terms and conditions; prepare recommendations with provider comparisons; facilitate submission of requirements and issue regret letters; check billings and prepare Payment Approval Slip (PAS); administer health benefits for new regular employees per Policy on Health Benefits (PoHB).
- Other tasks: assist the HRD Head in preparing memoranda, Policies, Guidelines and Procedures (PGPs), Manual of Operations (MOO), and the employee handbook; create and maintain updated Job Descriptions for all roles; administer non-financial employee benefits (HMO, Uniform, giveaways, general supplies); act as speaker/facilitator for employee orientation on PGPs/programs; conduct studies, surveys, benchmarking on data requirements; assist in Employee Engagement Activities; maintain employee records and HR files; handle related tasks as assigned.
