Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Specialist to support data preparation, validation, and reporting across multiple systems. This is a short-term/contract role focused on accelerating data preparation, ensuring data integrity, and enabling smooth data upload into customer portals and related platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, interpret, and validate data from multiple systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, licensing platforms) to compile contact details, license entitlements, contracts, and pricing.
  • Curate and structure data for upload into vendor/customer portals, adhering to formatting standards and ensuring accuracy.
  • Upload data to new systems and troubleshoot data-related issues to support project timelines.
  • Collaborate with IT, business operations, and other teams to ensure data alignment and system compatibility.
  • Document processes, findings, and best practices to streamline future data preparation and uploads.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced features: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleaning, formatting).
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce to extract data efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work night shifts if required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft licensing data and vendor portals (e.g., AppDirect).
  • Experience with large-scale data migration projects and self-service/customer portal initiatives.
