You will providetax preparation and accounting services for our business clients. The ideal candidate will have astrong work ethic, understand tax regulations and accounting principles, and have the ability toprepare business tax returns accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:· Prepare federal, state and local business tax returns for corporations, partnerships, LLCsand other business entities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.· Ensure clients comply with applicable tax regulations to meet their federal and stateincome tax obligations.· Prepare extension calculations and requests.· Prepare estimated tax calculations and assist with tax planning projects.· Organize, review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and adjust as needed.· Prepare supporting tax workpapers, including tax provision, capital and/or basiscalculations, depreciation schedules etc.· Complete accounting functions such as reconciliations, accruals and journal entries.· Keep client documents and supporting workpapers organized for easier review· Collaborate with tax partners and managers to ensure quality of work and timelycompletion of projects.· Work closely with onshore team to ensure smooth coordination in the preparation, reviewand filing of business tax returns.· Research tax issues as necessary to address client-specific situations or tax law changes.Assist with tax audits as needed. Qualifications:· Degree in accounting, finance or related field· Knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws, especially as they relate to businessentities.· An understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strongfinancial analysis skills.· 2-3 years’ experience in tax return preparation.· Excellent communication skills to keep team appraised of statuses.· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:· Proficiency with CCH products (Axcess, Engagement, Document)· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and experience with QuickBooks Online Core Perks and Benefits: HMO on your first day + Free coverage for 2 dependents on your 2nd year Government-mandated benefits 20 Annual Leave Credits 13th-month pay Birthday Leave Bereavement Leave Work Setup: Hybrid/Work form home work set up for this roleNOTE: This position is exclusively open to Philippine citizens currently living in the Philippines.
